Hello! My name is Kent and I’m the co-founder of Ashby & Gabriel! Simply, helping people achieve their goals through business, organization, processes and team work is something I live for! I love where the human soul and the functional/getting-results strategy intersect. Also, I enjoy audiobooks, cats, chocolate cake and the gym. (I know cake and gym are contradicting, but I’m complex).
It started when I was with Wanderer Bracelets back in 2016! This company still has a part of my heart. I learned about ecommerce, digital ads, influencer marketing and managing a team there!
I love the psychology and relationship aspect of marketing. Essentially, we foster relationships between brand and buyer, and do our best to communicate the solutions to the customers.
What project have you worked on that you are most proud of?
That’s like saying which child is your favorite! I’ve learned so many different types of things from each one and have achieved so many different types of goals, there couldn’t just be one!
What aspect of digital marketing are you most passionate about?
I really love laying out user journeys and discovering what speaks the most or what’s most helpful to audiences.
What’s something about your job people might find surprising?
The best work and ideas always come to me when I’m not working. When I’m rested, relaxed and playful. I consider all different aspects of life contributing back to relational marketing.
What is your favorite part of working at A&G?
Our team is awesome. Everyone loves what they do, making it the best they can, but most importantly, living a life they want. Nothing is more exciting for me than seeing people on our team talk about the passions they have outside of work, the dreams they want to accomplish and what’s inspiring them weekly!
Do you have any advice for those who might be new to the industry?
It’s going to be different and it’s going to change constantly, so create a system that includes perpetually change! Always look to the future in where the industry is heading and get there first.
